Dan Hunt began his practice more than thirty years ago in Easley, South Carolina recognizing an obligation to assist others in analyzing problems efficiently and offering multi-perspective legal advice.  He was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and graduated from Parker High School.  After graduating from Clemson University in 1970, he completed his military obligation with service with the U.S. Army in Vietnam until February, 1972 as a  First Lieutenant.  He later attended the University of South Carolina where he earned his law degree and was admitted to the bar in 1975.   He is currently a member of the South Carolina Bar and the American Bar Association.  In addition to his extensive legal work, Mr. Hunt gives much of his time to numerous non-profit organizations within the community. He is a communicant of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, in Greenville, South Carolina where he has served as a vestryman, junior and senior warden. In addition to other Bar  committee work, he has served as the committee chairman for the South Carolina Bar's Insurance Committee.  He also is a volunteer on the Lawyers Helping Lawyers Committee.  Locally, he has worked with D. W. Daniel High School as  one of the  volunteer attorneys in the Mock Trial Program sponsered by the South Carolina Bar.
