Daniel E. Hunt
Dan Hunt began his practice more than thirty years ago in Easley, South Carolina recognizing an obligation to assist others in analyzing problems efficiently and offering multi-perspective legal advice. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and graduated from Parker High School. After graduating from Clemson University in 1970, he completed his military obligation with service with the U.S. Army in Vietnam until February, 1972 as a First Lieutenant. He later attended the University of South Carolina where he earned his law degree and was admitted to the bar in 1975. He is currently a member of the South Carolina Bar and the American Bar Association.
In addition to his extensive legal work, Mr. Hunt gives much of his time to numerous non-profit organizations within the community. He is a communicant of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, in Greenville, South Carolina where he has served as a vestryman, junior and senior warden. In addition to other Bar committee work, he has served as the committee chairman for the South Carolina Bar's Insurance Committee. He also is a volunteer on the Lawyers Helping Lawyers Committee. Locally, he has worked with D. W. Daniel High School as one of the volunteer attorneys in the Mock Trial Program sponsored by the South Carolina Bar.

Matthew is a lifelong resident of South Carolina. Born in Charleston, he moved to the Upstate at a young age and is proud to call it home. After graduating from Mauldin High School, Matthew later went to the University of South Carolina in Columbia, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology in 2008. He then went on to the University of South Carolina School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2011. After being admitted to the South Carolina Bar, Matthew embarked on his legal career, later joining the Law Office of Daniel E. Hunt in March 2016. He has experience in handling e-discovery in complex litigation cases, unemployment insurance claims, family law, probate administration and litigation, estate planning and elder law, and real property closings. When he’s not working, Matthew enjoys hiking, reading, and playing the piano.

Originally from Jefferson County, Tennessee, LaShonda has lived in the Upstate since 1994. She has been a paralegal for over 17 years, having worked in the areas of family law, real estate, immigration law, business law, and litigation. LaShonda has been a valued member of the Law Office of Daniel E. Hunt since September 2013. She processes all real estate closings, as well as assisting in family law cases. LaShonda also serves as the office manager. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as traveling.
Shaun D. Malone
Shaun is a native resident of Greenville, SC. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2010. He then went on to get an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Greenville Technical College’s paralegal program in 2012. Shaun is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor degree and plans to practice law in South Carolina. Shaun has been a valued member of the Law Office of Daniel E. Hunt since June 2013. He assists the firm in a variety of matters including probate administration and litigation, estate planning and elder law, property disputes, and general litigation. In his spare time, Shaun enjoys the outdoors by hiking, camping, and fishing.
Brett Morton is a native of California and transplant to the Upstate. After graduating from Riverside High School, Brett joined the Air National Guard in 2012. In the Air National Guard, Brett serves as a paralegal and is responsible for providing legal assistance to military members and their families. Brett, who attained the rank of Staff Sergeant in February 2017, is also responsible for tracking legal assistance provided in the office and assisting other airman with upgrade training requirements. Brett has been a valued member of the Law Office of Daniel Hunt since August 2015. He assists with probate administration and litigation, as well as estate planning and elder law. Brett is married with two children and enjoys playing basketball and football in local recreational leagues. Brett also serves as a member of the Care Team at Bridgeway Christian Church.
